Pressley Ridge, a Private Social Solidarity Institution based in Amadora and aimed at helping children and families in complex situations and facing difficult challenges, is the organization that promotes and manages Surf.ART.

It acts as a vital resource for rebuilding families and communities, through specialized and diversified programs.

These challenges represent for us the opportunity to support children and young people in developing skills and building close and meaningful relationships with reference people. We act based on strengths, enhancing the potential of young people, so that they become an asset to their community and undertake a life project with purpose. ​

We provide a range of services for children and young people with behaviour, adjustment and development problems, seeking to keep them with their families and in their communities. These children and young people are fragile, suffer emotional disturbances and have behavioral problems, leaving parents and other adults confused and frustrated. ​

Services in Portugal include: community intervention, family preservation and reunification, wraparound, parental training, training groups for mothers, social entrepreneurship programs, socio-emotional skills training for children and young people, training for professionals and consultancy. ​
