Tax Consignment
Tax consignment allows you to donate part of the tax in favor of the State to an organization. And at no cost: in a refund scenario you don't receive less and in an additional tax scenario, you don't pay more.
Through Tax allocation, you can allocate 0.5% of the IRS paid to an organization (tax that is borne by the State after deductions have been taken into account). Thus, instead of your IRS being all in the hands of the State, part of it is sent by the State itself to the cause of your choice.
You can deduct the Tax supported by the invoice requirement. Through this deduction it is possible to deduct: 15% of the Tax paid on invoices from car workshops, restaurants, accommodation, hairdressers, beauty institutes and veterinarians and 100% of the Tax paid on social pass invoices.
But be careful, unlike the Tax consignment, this gesture of solidarity affects the amount of additional tax to be paid or the refund to be received. In this case, you will no longer be able to benefit from the Tax deduction borne by the invoice requirement. The tax discount due to you, through this deduction, is delivered to the entity chosen by you.

Donations in cash or in kind represent a tax benefit of up to 140%, deductible under IRS or IRC (Tax Benefits Statute, approved by Decree-Law Nº108/2008).
